My light is flashing, I'm assuming, code 10. It flashes 10 times, pauses, and repeats.

Is it necessary to clear the codes in the cpu before rechecking for them, after repairs? If so, what is the proper procedures for clearing the codes? Do I need to run the car for a period of time...
