the ranger is an 87 and is totally gutted, mo stock parts are in the cab or on the frame rails. i will pronanly just stick with the cable clutch then....

i understand wiring in series and parallel, i am trying to figure out a way to avoid over charging the first battery in line. kind of like an inline voltage regulator between the two batteries

Question Wiring altenator to a switch

Anyone know how to wire the altenator to a switch, so it can be turned on/off?? I have the factory altenaor on my 5.0, and need to bypass the harness and run it directly to the batteries or marine...
