I should point out that it makes the noise even when it is not latched. If the trunk lid is up I can push the button and replicate the sound all I want. Does that still sound like an alinement...

Ya, its my daily driver so I am not worried about top of the line. Slotted rotors are good for racing, but I don't think I have to worry about over heating them with basic driving.

My trunk release is acting up. When I click the release button on my fob, it unlatches but is making a clanking against metal sound. Its as if, there are pieces of metal on each side...

If you remove the front splitter I think it would be fine. You hear that splitter hitting the ground multiple times throughout the video. Remove it and I don't think it is any lower than a corvette.
