RE: Problems Starting/Not starting....?

If it just started now and those add-ons have been there, then it could just be a dead/dying battery (or dead cell) or the alternator beginning to go south. Start with the easy stuff like this. "When...

RE: Corsa owners

Just have to add my 2 cents--they cost more for a reason. They sound great and they don't kill you with drone inside the car. So much so that you might not realize how great they sound to everyone...

RE: Why can't ford racing make an exhaust that fits????

Adjust it at the mid-pipe, where you loosened the bolts in the middle near the H. Doesn't seem like it'll play, but get it good and loose, then twist the pipe/muffler until it's centered and tighten...

RE: 800rwhp mustang

I think it would be that mod where you trade it in on a rare Ferrari... ;)

RE: Steed UDP craziness

Wow I can't believe this is so hard to visualize.

If spinning the accessories at stock belt speed takes (for round numbers only) 10 HP out of your stock 300 HP motor, that leaves 290 HP left to...

RE: Factory Service Manual? Brake Pad install?

Front pads are extremely easy. I haven't done the rears yet because I read on here the caliper pistons screw back down/in (rather than just compress back into the caliper) and I don't have a tool...

RE: WISH ME LUCK....

Dude, I did exactly the same thing. The spoiler went on Thursday night, Sunday morning I pulled into a parking space and went too far, scratched it up bad on the parking block. Grr.

Fuel Door Rubber Stoppers

Anyone have a parts or shop manual with a part number for the silly rubber bumpers/stoppers that are inside the fuel door? I noticed last weekend one was gone, thought I snugged the other in there...

RE: bad luck.... insurance

Since what's on the internet is forever searchable, it might not be a good idea to ask about committing insurance fraud. I know that's not what you want to hear, but it would be for your own good.

Brake Pad Change Done

I took off the stock front pads today and replaced them with Hawk HPS. Had to be the easiest brake pad install I've ever done, it took 45 minutes total and that included finding my wheel lock key and...

RE: Vert worth it? Topless or not

Honest to God, I wasn't going to reply, but in 36 years of life I have never heard the opinion that a convertible is a "chick" car or a queer car, Mustang or otherwise. Although I do appreciate...

RE: way to stop the windows from rolling down that little bit?

How about just having the tint guy not put the window all the way up when he's done? The drop only happens when the window is in the totally "up" position.

RE: Cleaning the C&L filter

That's a great point, Matt. Buying a new one and cleaning the old one and swapping them out every few thousand miles. Awesome suggestion.

Now I just need to go find what the part number is of...

Cleaning the C&L filter

Anyone have any suggestions on cleaning the C&L CAI air filter? I've only used K&N in the past on different vehicles and everytime I would go to clean it, everyone said leave it alone, it works...

RE: Vert worth it? Topless or not

As someone else here put it once, it's the ultimate accessory. Ford did this convertible right, from looks to ease of use, it was designed into the car from the start and not an afterthought. Plus...

RE: Other than Mustangs...What do you do???

See now, you had me there with the Patriots, the Sox, the High Def, the hanging with your kids. Then you went off the deep end with that lack of committment on the job thing and the shopping! Unless,...

RE: Torchreds with Black stripes?

I've got a torch red vert with a black top. When it was new I was thisclose to having painted black rally stripes done but decided I liked the understated look of the car better. But I mocked it up...

RE: Auto Tranny Guys, LOOK WHAT I FOUND!

Nice, but if it took more than one guy at a pro shop ("...it took us virtually all day...") all day to do, it sounds like a gigantic pain in the ass.
