The only resons I know of are water, surface not clean of oils or sanding residue. Try a good degreaser and then a tack cloth onse it dries completey.

WTB: A/C manifold and lines

I need the 2 A/C lines and manifold that connects to the compressor for a 98 or 99 4.6 DOHC or SOHC. Not sure if other years will fit or not. Shipping will be to 87114.

Mine didnt have near that many miles but I replaced the water pump then the squeal was still there. Mine was the CPS. Sounded just liek a waterpump bearing with a stethescope. GL

You can get a code set due to a one time brain fart of the CPS. The system will keep that fault stored in memory until cleared. It does not mean you have an existing problem. Best bet is to clear...
