Cuz most 6 speeds have higher low gear ratios than 5-speeds, which makes up for having 3.55 instead of 3.73. In the higher gears, 5th and 6th are lower ratios than 5 speeds, you get better mileage...

Correct me if I'm wrong but there are no exhaust feeds coming out of the stock headers. I think they added that in 94? The only place for exhaust to feed the EGR is the mid-pipe tube.

Yep that's what I've got. It's less clutter than an A/C delete pulley. And you get it for practically free considering the mustangs came with the exact same brackets from the factory.

You don't need a pulley for the A/C delete. The delete kit I have(I think I got it from late model resto) uses the same brackets(alum one that bolts to head and steel one that bolts to water pump)...
