Also, try swapping in an ignition control module, I picked one up for my old mustang for $35 at the local junkyard. I had the same problem and was dumbfounded, I had done coil packs, plugs and wires....

Check your exhaust, it might be rubbing on your driveshaft very lightly. You'll be able to tell if there's a clean stripe on a part of the driveshaft.

Thanks, i definitely was looking at the wrong thing. Is it as simple as take off and replace? And where is it located? I spent some time under my car and could only find wires going to the trans.
