I find it's less time consuming to pinpoint the parts that don't rattle.

I would imagine the WL would also help in straight line acceleration. It should reduce the tendency of the rear end to step out to the side when upshifting and breaking traction. The straight up/down...

Bump for an awesome fix. Just did this today. Took under 10 mins. I didn't remove the mirror, just popped the glass off and had easy access to the torx screws.

Thanks for posting this up! It's interesting that this problem is so common. I tried to get Ford to fix this under warranty last month, and when my dealer contacted Ford for authorization, they said...

If you watch this video:

RE: Puttin' these on under the GT emblem

For the big grin I get on my face every time I stomp the gas ;)My car looks bone stock. No one ever gives it a second look. It's great.

RE: Motor Mounts Install AFTER Saleen S/C Installed ?

You don't need another belt. All of the accessories are part of the engine assembly. You could drop it to the ground and it wouldn't matter.

RE: Motor Mounts Install AFTER Saleen S/C Installed ?

You did this AFTER installing the SC? I don't think you have anywhere near enough clearance to raise the engine with the SC already on it, as there is a max of about 1/4" between the back of the SC...

RE: Motor Mounts Install AFTER Saleen S/C Installed ?

RE: Did you order your Stang?

RE: Did you order your Stang?

I went through the fleet manager for mine. I went through redbook autos to get invoice fleet discountpricing. The problem was, no fleet manager would honor it at the time. Every dealer around me was...

RE: engine rev after shifting

Thanks for the compliments SOHC. I haven't driven an auto Mustang, but being as how autos normally have less engine braking then their manual counterparts, I would assume you would notice it more....

RE: Uncomfortable Headrest

Awesome! I've been wondering if modifying the posts was possible. Let us know how it works out, and if the shop would be willing to have headrests mailed to them for modification.

Whether you...

RE: Engine Start-Up After 6-month hibernation

You want to crank it over without fuel if possible for a few seconds before starting. This will get oil pumped up into the bearings at a relatively low rpm before you start it. This will minimize...

RE: oil change every 7500?

About as long as if you changed it every 2000. Unless you have bad rings, headgasket, or something else that will contaminate your oil (or serious racing with inadequateoil cooling)there is no reason...

RE: Do you turn your fogs on?

I get that too, and I've come to the same conclusion. I've driven in front of some GT's with all 4 on, and they are not bright at all, just lots of lights :)

RE: first car poll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Technically my first car was a 1977 Fiat 124 Spider. It was my dad's parts car for his Fiat, and I got it when I was 15. I didn't get it roadworthy when before turning 16, so my parents let me take...

RE: Just did a GT test drive - interior holding me back!

I just went on the Ford site and didn't see how the IUP was any different than in 06. Where are you getting this leather wrapped dash, center console, etc?
