The deal with the tailpipes is 2014 GT500 Çorsa mufflers on a 2005 car. I need to get the tips shortened, but have yet to find a proficient stainless welder in the Boston area that does car work.

One hood problem solved... Put in adjustable...

One hood problem solved... Put in adjustable mounts to drop the front of the engine a 1/2". The rim of the blower pulley was just kissing the underside of the hood.

The only thing that springs to mind is the bypass valve might be stuck in the open position, not allowing it to close when engine vacuum drops, which would interfere with the blower building...
