Yeah, I was thinking about going back to the factory ones that came with the carb. I just don't want to run super lean on the break in for my aluminum heads

So, got a 650 Holley mechanical secondary, sitting on a edelbrock rpm air gap with edelbrock 58cc heads. Before I put the heads on, I had 58/60 jets in the carb. Do yall think I should go bigger with...

On my 84 drag car, we used stock1.6 ratio roller rockers from crower, can't remember the cam
specs, but we also used victorjr heads, its been racing for 5 Years with no problems 500hp. And 600 tq....

I did it on the cheap with An 85 in tanke fuel...

I did it on the cheap with An 85 in tanke fuel pump, 85 throttle cable and csr throttle bracket. I cut every wire from my pcm. Rewired the fuel pump to a switch by the shifter with a fuse and relay....

the last time it happened, i bought the heaviest duty alternator i could find, it has a pulley with a full shank, not like the stock one. the pulley is in alignment with the others and the best way...

alternator pulley

I have an 86 that eats alternator pulleys. it seems like there is too much pressure on the belt, thus putting pressure on the alternator pulley and it is augering out the middle of the pulley...

thanks for the help, i have really only done the top half. i changed the mechanical advance springs in the distributor to the lightest and that has helped mostly. just trying to fine tune it now.
