+1 I have the same issue. I've never had a problem with it draining the battery because it is such a minuscule amount of power. It bugged me too, but you'll get used to it. Don't worry about it.

Either gears or driveshaft for the best improvement. A short throw won't yield you the best improvement, but for me it really made the car more fun to drive.

Had the same problem with an 06 v6. Cleaned the TB cause it was black. And problem was solved. Might have to replace the IAC valve if the problem keeps up
