I did some more reading around and the covers...

I did some more reading around and the covers will be coming off. Turns out they dont really do much, and they can possibly damage the leather underneath. I clean and condition the seats regularly....

Yeah alternator is definitely charging fine, battery is strong and holds its charge no problem. Batt cables are clean and tight. I think Ill try looking for a bad ground or maybe getting a noise...

Thanks. Got it, the shorties were just appealing because I could reuse my stock cats and H pipe adapter. Didnt want to have to buy a new mid pipe and find a way to mount new cats in to keep it road...
