Yeah, can't tell tint from internal or external "dust" or what have you. If they bother you that much, find new headlight assemblies.

Ditto what Bitter said. There's a TSB regarding chronic water leaks on the early S197's that cause SJB contact corrosion resulting in electrical gremlins. I always recommend ruling out the water...

I have the FRPP (Borla) Stingers and they really wail when you open her up. BTW, you won't gain any power with aftermarket axle backs and catbacks on these S197's. Just exhaust note improvement.

If you don't have the "MyColor" option (refer to your OM), then the previous owner must have replaced the cluster bulbs. With the MyColor option, you can change the cluster to virtually any color.

I'm with Goldenpony on this one. The OM calls for 5W-30 for the 4.0 and it's not a major change to use the next weight. But I, too, would be leary of it in cold weather, simply to be conservative.

FYI, a stock '05 thru '09 4.6L typically dynos at about 265 RWHP. The engine is rated 300 at the crank. With a good custom tune and CAI, the NA 4.6L often dynos around 290-295 RWHP.
