Stock valve springs are just fine. Don't mess with them. They can hold stock cams into the 7000 range with no issues. We don't get valve float or other issues with them.

There is no intercooler...

Man that stinks. I think it would take me 20 minutes to pull my blower off. Just depends how sticky the RTV stuff sealing the manifold and blower is.

Depending on the tire you pick, you can go as wide as 285 or so. I have 305s on a 10 inch wheel. Tire rack used to have a pretty good estimator of what fits what.

I would do a leak down test and scope the cylinder. If it is not something within the cylinder like a burnt, damaged valve, I would guess it's something within the coil pack, sprak or injector...
