Get Hawk street pads from Pep Boys, Steeda and many others. Do a search for best price.

RE: msd coils

Accel also makes the same coil packs for the '98. I believe in most cases they are a bit cheaper than MSD.

RE: wat do you drive during the winter

'98 Olds Aurora with Autobaun suspension and 3.71 gears. I'll have to suffer the quiet until this spring.

RE: What is Exxon doing now?!?!

Exxon/Mobil is he worst! They screw everybody on price every day. By far the most expensive gas here in the Northeast. I have seen their premium grade sell for up to 32 cents a gallon more than a...

RE: Rear Left wheel seems to clunk and lock up

It can possibly just be a partly frozen caliper on one of your rear brakes. It would have a tendency to lock up when braking and only partially opening up when off the brake. It would basically be...

RE: Mustang Colors

Dark green metallic, dark red metallic or black. That's all a Mustang should ever be...oh, ya...white with blue racing stripes if you like original American racing colors.

Just playin' with your...

Try Hawks. You can get them at Pep Boys or mail order from just about anyone online. Steeda's standard replacement brakes are Hawk. Check it out: ...

RE: Merry Christmas to me!

Like your tires and wheels. Just don't go out with your Stang until April once all the cold weather has passed. You have beautiful performance tires for summer but a nice set of skis for any other...

RE: Will this effect my mileage?

Approximately 6,500 km between oil changes with full synthetic. No need to change at only 3,000 miles (4,800 km). By the way, my '98 GT is getting the equivalent city/highway of 32 kpg.

RE: Will this effect my mileage?

Full synthetic for winter cold....for anytime for that matter. Much better flow in the cold and helps your gas mileage as well. Cold weather formula fuels also contribute to poorer mileage in the...

RE: Can I squeeze a 285/35/18 on a 18x8?

Forget it. Number one you would need wider rims than 8" just to properly mount the tires. Number two, I really don't think you have that much room in your fender wells without other mods to the...

RE: motor oil

There is NO comparison. Full synthetic absolutely blows any other oil formulation out of the water. Synth blend only buys you some synthetic additives with conventional oil. Not the same thing as...

RE: Gears, and Bearing Kit.

I would question only $175 for install. May be TOO good a price. Pretty complex install if you do it right. Can really mess up your rearend if done poorly. I paid $325 for my install with new...

RE: Keep My Gt a Daily Driver?

Buy and '05 GT. Much more bang for the buck right out of the shoot unmodified. A simple CIA can add as much as 25 to 30+ HP. Motor is very receptive to minor mods.

Cobra Rims & Tires on '98 GT

Can you directly bolt on Cobra 17" x 9" wheels with 275/40 tires to a '98 GT? Don't really know the limitations of the SN95 suspension platform. Do you have to remove the quad shocks, use wheel...

RE: is this true?

If Ford Racing sells underdrive pulleys, I seriously doubt they will cause any kind of engine damage. A bad install may, however. Simply run synthetic oil and you'll never worry about any such oil...
