I would confirm it was attached to a 302...

I would confirm it was attached to a 302 previously. If so, find out if the 289 and 302 have the same bolt pattern. My guess would be yes.

Im not too familar with how well whipple will do at the higher PSI levels, I'm sure someone will be able to chime in. Seems like for driving around town on pump fuel, you can do 15 psi fairly easily...
