the date is on the sidewall in a four digit code. "4511" would mean the tire was made in the 45th week of 2011. not sure its an international code or just for tires sold in US. good luck.

the top of the rear shocks is not a bolt but a nut. you need to hold the threaded portion with the 6 or 7 mm wrench while loosening the nut below it, 14 or 15 mm open end wrench IRRC. good luck

youll be just fine with a tune and stock air box. ive read on here and elsewhere that its not worth the cost to get a aftermarket CAI for the 5.0 cars as the stock is pretty darn good as is.

For those of you that don't know how to tell how old your tires are, there is a 4 digit number on the side wall. ex. (3412) that would mean the tire was made in the 34th week of 2012.

I would just make sure you have the right amount of coolant and that your thermostat housing isn't leaking. a known issue with the v6 cars as yours. could just be the gauge reading low when its cold...
