its pretty common for shops to get an estimate...

its pretty common for shops to get an estimate and start work to only find more later but the car should have totaled....one of the insurance reps complains a lot about another big shop in my town...

i wouldnt waste any time on the stock heads the e5 arent anything special. for a budget up grade find a 1996-97.5 explorer with the 5.0. take those heads and have them milled. they are gt40 heads....

personally id get a 94+ f150/e150 351w motor they are setup for roller cams. as for the oil pan if i remember correctly the crown vic 351w oil pan...
