yah you need a new plascic piece, they sell a kit for the inside of these steering wheel center pieces at pretty much all classic mustang catalogs

How is it that it's the same as stock feel rated at 900hp? Just curious. I figured almost all the aftermarket clutches for the 3v and other stangs/ cars were way firmer. With that much extra hp rating

I have an ACT in mine. They come in many different hp and tq ratings. Mine is rated for 580 ft lbs I believe. Which is more then my bolt in 06 gt needs. But a year and a half and going very strong!

Follow all the steps in the vids you've seen. Don't be afraid to change them just TAKE YOUR TIME. I waited till I had a day off and soaked them over night before hand after I cracked them a 1/4 turn....
