Had the same problem. I had buggered up that one nut pretty good because I couldn't get a good grip on it. Took my car to an exhaust shop and paid $40 to have that one nut removed. Drove it back...

I agree that two sets of tires might be the way to go (that's what I do). And, summer tires can be a little slippery below 45 degrees. But, I also think saying that the OP will kill himself...
