Yes a mustang transmission will bolt up to a lightning motor. But the lightning computer is for the e4od and won't run an aode or 4r70w as far as I know.

Yeah. The springs were weak so I could turn the key forward a bit and it would fire back up. I know I replaced the switch but I can't remember if I replaced the cylinder.

OK finally had some time to reassemble the valve body on my aod and replace the reverse servo. It was a one groove servo that had been replaced before based on the 2011 date on it. Got it all slapped...

Msd boxes and coils do this occasionally, seemingly more often than stock. I'd throw the stock ignition components back on and see what happens.

valve body springs

Tearing down aod valve body that supposedly has a shift kit. Were the factory valve springs colored? I've never tore one down so I don't know. The pressure regulator valve spring is mostly green.
