You are absolutely reading my mind! I bought a can of black and a can of gun-metal gray yesterday. I need to order a couple cans of the Metalizer for my wheels and emblems, but for a test run, that's...

Thanks for your opinion. I want to add retro accents that remind people of the 69 versus looking just like one. Generally, I wouldn't like the Retro mods either, but the ones on that site are really...

I took another look, on my last smoke-break. I can see that if mine was lowered, the wheels would look more sucked into the wheel-wells. It's the overhang on the fenders. Go to your rear end, and...

Mine are basically flush with the front/back edges of the fenders. They're set back slightly from the top edge of the fender-wells. But, everything underneath is stock, including the wheels and...

That's a good chunk of info to have. I would have used those terms interchangeably, but there is a difference. Thank you!!

No, the plan was just to paint the cowl area of the hood. I considered vinyl, but it would look like hell with just a couple of rock-chips in it, and would need replaced. Still, I may do vinyl just...

1969 Tribute on 05 GT

I have figured out the appearance direction I want to go with my GT. My question is whether my Baby would look good with the flat black-painted hood. Opinions?

And, if so, would painting the hood...

Yeah, you're kinda being a dick, but I get it. I know the CAI isn't ideal, but it was CHEAP, and doesn't need a tune, and still looks better than stock.:icon_cankick:

Contrary to my previous idea about not buying a CAI, I found one for $85. It's a CHEAP model from eBay, but has a new K & N cone. Same diameter as the original air-tube, so no tune required. Since I...

I did drill out the existing holes to just shy of 9mm, then lightly tapped these nuts in with a ball-peen hammer. Then just thread the M6 bolts in with a 4mm allen wrench. Piece of cake, and not a...

I've been tempted to get one, but am just not convinced there is a benefit, beyond the look. I certainly don't want to have to buy a tuner just because I bought a CAI.

Maybe eventually, when I...
