Yeah, true. The only thing the stock clutch doesn't like too much is elevated rev limits. The Paxton kit has a huge head unit, easily able to support 1000 horse. The Vortech I have caps out at about...

I see no reason to rule anything out, especially if he's been out of the loop for a bit. That's what I love about Mustangs, so much choice; you can turn the car into anything your heart desires....

I'm definitely glad I went with GT500s now I am supercharged. I just turned the volume up to 11 and anything louder than the GTs would be too much. The FRPPs are like Borla Touring so, they are as...

Those are GT500 mufflers, I think. I paid $260 for a set a couple years back. They can be found retail for about $300, sorry to disappoint. They are a great sounding muffler though and a very...

Respectfully disagree, having used both, on this car and others. On a street car for driving around, radials are fine but at the strip, the hit the driveline takes is much harder with drag radials...

I drive to the track on slicks all the time. I don't even air them up. It's no big deal. Be careful and avoid any road debris.

Slick for stick definitely. The hit to the driveline is way softer...

Meh, air them up and they aren't so bad. They'll last about a week though, given the compound.

This'll make you laugh: Last year, I exploded one of the factory Pirellis and had to order...

Pardon? It's the stiff sidewall/carcass of the drag radial that transfers more shock in a shorter period of time, straight to the driveline. The slicks more flexible carcass allows a longer and...

Not real keen on drag radial and a stick. I've used both Dr and slicks, multiple applications. Slicks are way easier on parts than radials. I even drive aired down bias slicks to the track, no...

Yeah I hear ya. To me, some rough-edged brutality is part of the embedded charm of a Mustang.

That's where I think they might have lost the plot a bit with the 15. It's a better car in every way...

Gentle, gentle, gentle. the stud's torque value is incredibly low, too, giving an indication of how fragile they are: 8-10 lb/ft. This is 1/4" ratchet territory and care is still needed there.

That's it then. Practice, practice, practice. don't change anything. 2.19 is gawdawful, even for the stock TP tires, with their hard sidewalls and unforgiving nature. You are either launching too...

The risk of breakage later is there. The factory install used no thread lock. You mix any lock with developing corrosion and you may create problems down the road.

Sway bar end links are a known issue for these cars since 2005. Hard to characterize this as a "major issue" but, it's real. Usually it's clunks and bangs, going over bumps that result from this. I...

My opinion is save the money on the CAI. It's not really any gain in itself. The factory CAI and a good tune is worth pretty much the same, without the $350 tab for the CAI. Now you are down to under...
