Well you and I are having the same issue, but I am having it with a 2005 BMW X3--no oil leak, no anything, yet the light will come one and I am sure missing about 1 qt of oil...what the heck...

Welcome, would be nice to see a picture of your interior to see what you are talking about. As for MTE, 280 seems a bit low for a full tank and may be an indicator that someones may need to check it.

Wipe new is a trim restorer that is very potent. It bonds with the plastic for long lasting resto look. Not sure what to do if it's on the paint.
