Lope in the cam comes from the lobe separation, not the lift. Depending on the engine specs, more is not always better. I've run stock lift cams with huge lobe separation and got big lope at idle....

there are several places, NPD, Scott Drake, etc... parts houses like Mustangs Unlimited, CJ Pony Parts as well. As for who has the best, I'm not sure I haven't started replacing any of mine yet.

you can build a stout normally aspirated small block that will provide more power than the chassis can handle. I'd go that way- sure, supercharger is cool, but what you feel is kick in the ass power...
