Knocking is tough to diagnose without hearing it. You need to make a video of it. Could be a lot of things. First place that I would start is with that HEI dizzy, make sure that the bearings are OK...

Man, you have no idea what you're getting into. The biggest issue is that the mustang engine bay is tiny and the 4.6L is freaking huge. You're going to need to modify the shock towers by either...

Sounds like you may have gotten a bad IAC valve, that or you have a pretty good vacuum leak. What brand is the IAC?

Auction makes me nervous. Was it public or dealer? Dealers are notoriously shady when they send vehicles back to auction.

The whole bogging, then fine for a few seconds after restart makes me...

Fuel injectors fixed the issue. On top of that, the new Delphi fuel pump kept ripping the suction hose in two.

Technically yes, but the 02 sensors should be able to compensate for the added fuel. I ran 5 24lbs injectors and 3 19lbs injectors in my 4V swapped GT. Ran fine lol.

Yeah, the verts use a 6.5" speaker in the rear and they are mounted differently. Shouldn't change how you go about putting in a new head unit though.
