I bet you are going to find tire wear too. Take it to a shop and have it checked out. BL817 is right, it is probably tie rod ends. In any case it will require an alignment.

Check and clean the connections one more time. Was it a rebuilt alternator? It could be faulty. I had a rebuilt replacement do weird things, so upgraded to a new, lifetime warranty alternator...
