Oh and when you apply the protectant to the top, spray it on a towel first then apply. If you just spray it and get it on your windows or the paint it can be a bear to remove

I would say try it out before you buy another bottle of it and see if you like it.

I end up buying twice the bottles of the protectant.
I like it well enough to use on all the trim inside the car as well as the top.
I only clean the top with the brush...
