The SCT's win the majority over Diablo, IMO, and it seems that the vendors writing the tunes favor SCT. Evolution (see their post above), BAMA/AM and Brenspeed write excellent tunes.

If you can afford a set of dedicated winter tires, then that's the way I'd go. Even better to put those on a set of winter rims. If neither, then research the ratings for a/s's on sites like Tirerack.

To get an idea how it sounds with the cutouts between the midpipes and catbacks, just remove the callbacks. IMO, it won't be pleasing.

I'd look for 07 or later. The 05 and 06s had a few significant associated TSB's that affected drivability and reliability. If the previous owner didn't resolve it, then its your headache.

Little to no gain performance wise but up to about 4 mpg gain under certain operating situations. I'll fill the Stangs with non-ethanol if convenient. It's ALL I use in my boat and yard equipment...

Before putting cutouts on, I'd unbolt everything from the H pipe back to see if you care for the sound. Many don't. You won't gain any RWHP since the stock systems tend to flow extremely well.

+1 what Dino x 2 said, yielding roughly 315 RWHP with his stated mods. And you can safely SC up to about 450 RWHP before having to modify internals.
