I thought about that. I forgot to mention it in my original post, but I did lift the car up and tried to move the pinion/driveshaft side to side, and it is tight; there is no freeplay. The groove...

Intermittent pinion seal leak?

My wife has a 2005 GT convertible, and about a year ago I noticed a small spot underneath the rear differential When I crawled under, it was clearly coming from the pinion seal. I filled it, and...

Nobody? I put a new top on the car a couple weeks ago (not that that has anything to do with my problem), and the top still stops about 75% of the time when it's 3/4 of the way up or down.

Thanks! I did see some references to head gaskets , but I'm more than capable of fixing that if the need arises. The car runs great , the trans shifts perfectly , and there's no rust or structural...

I'm looking at a 97 V6 convertible to use as a daily driver. The car has 134,000 miles, and is cosmetically kind of beat up, but runs and drives good. Are there any specific things I should be...

Thanks for the reply. I hadn't thought of going to the junkyard (which is odd, because this really is a junkyard, low buck build) for the fuel lines/parts.

As for the supply/return line, I do...

WTB 66 Mustang headers (cheap)

Preferably something nearby so shipping doesn't kill the deal.
