Can't find a definitive answer, but on every other car that I have worked on, the cam sensor is what triggers the injectors. Check the TPS for WOT voltage.

Technically yes, but the 02 sensors should be able to compensate for the added fuel. I ran 5 24lbs injectors and 3 19lbs injectors in my 4V swapped GT. Ran fine lol.

19lbs EV1 Jetronic. You can switch to the EV6 24lbs USCAR if you want, but you will need the USCAR to Jetronic adapters.

Odd question, TR3650 to T45 swap.

I know, I am doing it backwards. I just picked up an 04 GT and the third gear syncro is shot. Rebuild kits and junkyard TR3650's are insane on the price point, but I can find T45's for cheap all day...

Good advice, just be careful when touching them. I have seen wheels get hot enough to melt plastic center caps. I wouldn't worry about the clutch, it wouldn't cause what you're describing.
