Can't imagine how it would hurt the seals unless one sprayed so much that it pooled somewhere. I just "misted" it in through the TB. If the car backfired, wouldn't that be indicative of a different...

I think this might be at least in part due to the reaction folks had when the 2015 gen 6 model was introduced. It's grown on me but at the time I much preferred the more traditional look of the S197...

Well, I'll follow my own example. I installed the MGW about a month after I bought my '13 GT new, so there you have it - option 2 for me. I didn't have to take any shoes off of my kid's feet or food...

Agreed, I was able to diagnose a bad fuel pump on another fuel injected car we had. A squirt of starting fluid would get the car to run just for a few seconds or I could keep it running a bit longer...

Disclaimer, Ford is rolling it out step-wise so it may or may not yet be available to you.

I've been using the Mobil 1 5w-30 extended...

I've been using the Mobil 1 5w-30 extended service oil in my GT. The engine does not seem to use any oil between changes (7500-9000 miles depending on when the oil life monitor tells me it's time).

I think it would be handy if you drag race. Not that I would know, but if you're looking at the road and in the heat of the race miss your shift point and hit the limiter, you loose a ton of time.
