It is what it is. Times are changing. In the end almost every car company will sale a 'hybrid' model as an option for their popular models.

In this case, though, I'd expect far more juice than a prius . . . you can do this for economy, or you can due it for performance.

I suppose you could do a variant with each on the same car, but I think ford learned how silly low performance, high mileage mustangs go over years ago . . .

Ford has claimed it will have about the same performance as the GT. We'll find out in 2019 how true that claim is

Performance is the easy part on an electric.

The trick is carrying enough battery to be able to perform for a while . . .
