Default Need advise please 👍🏻

Hey, im in florida i own a 2004 mustang 4.6 gt i was trying to see if i could fit a 5.0 engine from maybe 2013 and up? I need advice thanks 💪🏼 Because i wanna swap to a new engine if that possible the newer the better. Any advice helps!

LMR did it, as have others. Your best bet is doing a google search on it.

You can either use a donor vehicle or buy a ready to use crate motor. I would highly recommend not dinking around with a donor engine harness but rather buying a new harness for whatever year you buy. The last thing you want to be chasing down with a very modern engine is, electrical gremlins.

You're getting the matching transmission as well?

You'll probably need custom motor mounts and hoses as well as a driveshaft.
