Default Where does this ground strap go??

My 2001 GT has been dormant for months now since it started stumbling. Finally took it out for a test drive today to start poking around at the issue. Popped the hood and I see this ground strap (see attached pic) hanging loose on the passenger side of the engine compartment...crazy. Does anybody know where the loose end is supposed to be anchored??

Attaches to the hood. There should be a hole, unless you have a aftermarket hood.

Sounds like your alternator isn’t charging the battery
