Default Maximum Motorsport Suspension setup

Getting ready to upgrade my 13 GT. I have the 19" 2016 performance package rims and tires installed.

Looking at adding the Maximum Motorsport 2011-2014 Mustang Road and Track Grip Box

http://www.maximummotorsports.com/20...Box-P1443.aspx

Lowers about 1.9"

Just wondering if anyone else has this setup?

Found these articles below - we ordered 2 kits - 1 for 2013 GT and 1 for a 2014 GT. Both cars have the 2016 GT Performance Package 19" rims and tires installed. Now we are doing the suspension.

We have all of the parts sometime next week that my son's shop is going to do the install.

This is the 2013 before the kit - will post after all of the work is completed.

They're a fairly well-known outfit among those Mustang enthusiasts who are primarily concerned with making their cars handle. They were and maybe still are very big among the Fox/SN95 crowd, but have since branched out to pick up the later generation.

I personally have their Camber caster plates, as for the whole package, I think it's overpriced. You could do better by picking from different vendors. Don't get me wrong, it will probably handle much better, it's just that I find the price for their setup a bit on the high side for what it comes with.

I saved a little going thru Stage 3 Motorsports out of Glendale AZ. Free shipping also and zero tax. The attraction was the one stop approach. Figured this would be less hassle. Should give the car a lot cleaner look. As you can see in my photo's I've got the droopy front end look now.

The Total Control package on my 66 is awesome - drives like a go cart......

Update

Installed the Maximum Motorsport Road and Track Grip Box kit. I could write a book but to sum it up the car is now unbelievable. Thing corners like a go cart. When you launch it flies. I took .4 seconds off my 0 to 60 using the on board track app timer. 5.2 before 4.8 after. Actual time is probably around 4.3 to 4.4 seconds as my rear tires are taller 275X40X19 than stock 235X55X18.
Fronts are 255X40X19. I'm problably going to move to Michelin Pilot Super Sports 275X40X19 all the way around.

One warning. The rear lower control arms transfer rear end noise. It is minor. There is an article on MM's site that talks about their design. The way this thing drives now - the noise is a non issue.

Attaching some photos. You can seethe before and after

That looks amazing! I just bought my new wheels. In the end I had to yield a little performance for looks since I drive on the road more than on the track and went for 19x10 all around with 285/35R19. After that (or before if they don't fit ) I'll go with Vorshlag coilovers and never spend another cent in the suspension. I even bought a bag of all the oem fasteners from LMR.com so I can fasten everything up, torque them to spec and never touch them again.

Thanks for the kind words - It is pretty amazing how the car has changed with the kit. Next step move to the Michelin Pilot SS. May try to do 275X40X19 all the way around.
