Default Shaker 500 Problem in 2006 Ford Mustang

I have a 2006 Ford Mustang with a Shaker 500 system that's been causing me problems all day. When I first listened to the radio today, my speakers worked like how they always have. However, later today I heard that it was playing music awfully. I went and bought some new speakers, thinking it was the 6x8 on top of the subs, but I realized that only the subs themselves were playing. I thought of the idea to open the fuse box under the hood and replace the fuse for the amp (which the manual said was #16). When I did that, both my subs and my speakers now worked. I then tested it to make sure by turning the car off and back on. Now again, only the subs worked. I did the same thing which was replacing the fuse and seeing if that would work. It didn't. After that, I ran out of ideas. What else can I do to fix this? Thank you.

Was the fuse bad or was it just luck that it started to work?

Might want to unhook the battery cable for 1/2 hour or so.

I thought most of the fuses are in the passenger kick panel.

The fuse was fine because I switched it with the one for the power seat and the power seat works fine. I'll try to unhook the battery and give an update on what happens. And the fuse for the amp for the Shaker 500 was under the hood according the manual.

Also, around 30 minutes ago, I tried installing new speakers that I bought and they wouldn't work either. That means that it's most likely not the speakers.
