Finally got Brembos installed and inside 18" bullits
Ok, I had to put 1"spacers to make them fit, but that's just temporary until my new wheels arrive.
By the way, if anyone wants to do this swap don't go to Ebay, go here: https://www.carid.com/2007-ford-must...-45332327.html
54 per caliper rebuilt vs 600+ per pair used on Ebay. All you need to do is paint them if you want. Rotors are Centric, pretty cheap as well, especially if you track your car.

Here is a good place to find replacement Brembo decals if you're interested. You can get them in many different colors.

ooh, thanks
I was going to keep them unpainted but they really look better painted. Still deciding on Red with white lettering or Red with black. I think the white looks better. The rears are something else,. They are so ugly painting them would only make their ugliness stand out more. I thought about caliper covers but those look so fake it's embarrassing, plus they trap heat. I might take them out and polish the rear calipers to a mirror shine before painting them. Although good paint should look smooth either way. Which is the better brand to paint calipers, that looks super glossy and smooths out the finish?

I'm doing red with white lettering on mine.
I just painted my rear calipers last night and yeah those things are terrible. It is a very rough casting and I could tell last night they were going to take 2 coats of paint to even look half decent. They would definitely benefit from some smoothing. I'm using Duplicolor caliper paint and it's OK. I didn't get it super smooth on the brembos but at this point I'm not even that worried about it.
I'm actually kinda wishing I had just done black on the Brembos because the rear calipers were already black and would have just needed some touch-up. Ah well.

I thought about the possibility of using the old two piston front calipers in the back, but Brakes are not something I experiment with, plus there's the whole balance issue as well as the parking brake cable. Would look nicer for sure if it worked. Those puny single piston things look like they came off a bicycle.
