Default Mustang/Muscle shops in TX

If there isn't one already, could we get a list of shops that you guys have good experiences with in Texas? And, if there is one already could you provide a link please? I'm looking for a place to install a S/C or maybe a Turbo. I'm in Killeen but will drive a couple hundred miles if necessary. Thanks!

Just had a Bassani exhaust and FRPP headers put on at Pro Modular Performance. What a great experience! They were extremely nice and extremely quick as well. After leaving the shop my buddies Mustang decided to crap out and the owner of Pro Modular Performance happened to be driving by and he stopped to help us out. We brought the car back to his shop and he threw a new alternator in there and got it back to us that day! Did I mention this was on a Saturday afternoon 5 hours after they were already closed.

I have nothing but good things to say about PMP, I can't wait to take my car there again for my next upgrade.

Thumbs up PMP helps Tax Acctnt w/06 GT

I thought this w/be an appropriate thread to relate my experience w/Kirk and his performance shop here in Austin, Pro Modular Performance. I was interested in adding a cool air induction to my 06 GT and found recommendations for PMP through this post and posts in other Mustang forums. As you might guess from subject line I'm NOT a "gear head." However, I wanted to find someone who knew what they were doing re: Mustangs and CARED about the quality of their work. I had searched for 3 yrs at all the local Ford dealers and other private shops w/NO luck.

In January this yr I met Kirk and found he had BOTH Mustang expertise and went more than the extra mile to serve even a mild mannered novice like me. While I initially asked Kirk about the CAI and putting new wheels on the car, after getting a "feel" for Kirk's integrity (I'm used to people trying to "up sell" me unnecessary crap) I knew I had a fair amount of "deferred maintenance" so I send him a list of items these items and ASKED him to report to me other items that needed work.

Long story short I was VERY HAPPY w/his work on the car AND to get me great prices on the CAI, Wheels, even spark plugs. Even though what I asked him to do on my Stang wasn't very sexy performance-wise I felt like he treated me as if I was asking him to build a performance car.

In summary, Kirk - PMP is the ONLY place I'll take my Stang for ANY work.
