I never get pulled over by local cops for not having a front license plate. I got pulled over TWICE within 30 minutes by Highway Patrol for no front license plate. The first gave me a warning. I showed the second guy my warning and he let me go. I then got pulled over again on an other day by Highway patrol and he was asking me all kinds of questions about my car, how I liked it etc. and he told me he wanted one lol I think he was just checking my car out.

Front Plates
I just read the Ohio front plate law and it doesn't seem that it actually says you have to display a front plate. It does say you have to display your assigned number. It doesn't address a size requirement either. I'm considering just printing up a little sticker with the number on it and putting it on my front bumper on one side. Sort of like a boat registration. We'll see what happens...

I got pulled over in my wife's integra. The cop was in front of me, got over like he was turning and as soon as I passed... the blue and red came on... Said he pulled me over because of front license plate... I guess he saw it in the windshield. Then gave me tickets for Registration... Inspection... and something else. Cops just dont like me for some reason... I always seem to get about 3 tickets every time I get pulled over.

I had a Vette and ran no plate on front because a Vette just looks wrong with one. I got hit in San Marcos for it by DPS. Only a warning. I think he was looking for ANYTHING to keep from falling asleep. It was 7am on New Year's Day. There was NOBODY on the road. I was on way to go skydiving so we chatted about that for a while. got a warning.
We left and I was kinda lost. g/f read directions wrong aand we ended up going through a Hobby Lobby or similar huge parking lot and got on correct road. Same cop pulled me over again for "bypassing the light". I laughed at him for thinking I would be bold enough to do that in front of him. Got another warning.
He was seriously bored.
The drunks must have already been alseep in whatever ditch they crashed in.

I heard here in San Antonio, some judge has taken it upon himself to define the law to mean front of car means bumper. I tried to fight it for dismissal but nO luck. had to drill holes into my poor orange Mach 1s front bumper since I couldn't afford the $150 ticket fee.
