Any one from AZ?

greetings all! I'm moving out to Sierra Vista this September. I'm ex-Army and my wife is still in being stationed out there. I have a few questions for you Arizona stangers:
- any shops you recommend for tuning? I don't mind having to travel up to Phoenix if that's what it takes.
- any type of laws I should be aware of? I may live in California right now, but my GT is registered in Texas due to it being cammed and having long tubes and high flow cats (won't pass a visual, will pass sniffer) will that be a problem?
Thanks for any help guys!

good grief this is an OLD thread...
http://www.ampperformance.com/ford/ heard a lot of good things about them
no really weird laws, just beware of freeway speed cameras. They are posted about 1/4 mile and 300 ft out from where the cameras are so if you don't see them, you're not paying attention
They're on the 60 between 101 and I-17, and on the North (Hayden) Loop 101 in Scottsdale.
They've also installed some out towards the west valley on the 10 but I don't drive out there so I can't tell you exactly where.
Be wary when you get off the freeways in some areas. Some exits are posted no right turn on Red, others are not in which case it's fine to turn on red.
Certain city traffic lights give the left turn right of way AFTER the traffic has gone straight, some lights (like a normal light should), before.

One of the best places to get a tune done is http://www.arizonadynochip.com/
Skip AMP...
As to the smog test, you may not even need one. Phoenix and tucson do but not sure
about that far south.
