You just missed one at the 75-80 Dragstrip this weekend (just east of Frederick). While it was a Ford show, there was a healthy sampling of all Mustangs to see, plus the dragstrip was crowded and going full tilt boogie. This is their last year before closing down so that may explain the crowd yesterday.
there are several Mustang clubs in the Maryland area that sponsor meets and frequent cruise-ins, although most members for each club seemed to be localized somewhat, despite being open to everyone. Personally I belong to the Mustang Club of Maryland but I frequent events by the National Capital Region Mustang Club, the Southern Maryland Mustang Club, and even the Mustang Club of Central Pennsylvania. Here in Carroll County there are great cruise-ins every Saturday night, weather permitting, and always lots of Mustangs. Of course most end by Nov 1 and start back up in the spring. Let me know if you're interesting in cruiseins for the last two weekends and I'll send you directions.
A good Ford event will be at the Maryland International Raceway at Budd's Creek (southern Maryland) next weekend. There is a car show both weekend days and great racing to watch. I'll post more in this section later, but check out http://www.mirdrag.com/images/flyers/05_ford_fever.pdf for information now.
Hey, I live in Pasadena too. Just got my call today from the dealer. My new GT is being built October 24th. Should have it in 2 weeks. I live in Country Place off Mountain road. Where are you?
I live in Deale MD but I go to pasadena all the time.
My old rock band used to play the VFW (or Elks or something like that) frequently. One of the few places the gals gave us boob shots during the guitar solos. The worst was some 70+ grandmom with twin sausages growing out of her chest. I still get nightmares...
