ok guys. It's set for the final place to be Beef O'Bradys. They are going to have a section of the parking lot reserved for us, as well as a spot inside the restaraunt. I just need to keep them updated with a count. I liked the idea of a BBQ too, but to have one after cruising for a few hours would be a PITA. I didn't really feel like having to carrya cooler and chairs, etc. Anyway, the Beef O'Brady's people seem like they will be really accomodating. The only thing they care about is not bring alcohol out of the restaruant. They don't care if we pop the hoods and hang outside or come inside for foods/drinks. Should be a good time! Looking forward to it. One Eyed Willy, when you get the route map finalized, let me take a look at it. I know a few back roads in this area that we can take through Zephryhills on our way back down to Beef's.

I can see the point of wanting it to be stangs only. But honestly as long as people realize that the only reason we're all doing this is for fun and not for competition we should be alright. If somebody wants to be an @sshole, they can go home and leave those of us who want to have fun and see the different mods people have done alone.

this could've been said differently, or not said at all.what's the point in calling someone an asshole? what's the point in calling someone anything?I think from the first post that it was implied that this was supposed to be a fun time.maybe the person in question was kidding and forgot to put one of those handy little smiley faces at the end.

I want to say right now that I will not be doing ANY racing during this cruise. It's a CRUISE, not a RACE. People looking for a race need to head down to Bradenton Motorsports Park. Now, if we can find an empty parking lot, or warehouse for some burnouts and donuts, that's a different story! We all need to BE SAFE and HAVE FUN

I'm not interested in racing either. I just got my car a couple months ago and personally am not interested in risking damaging it in competition. I'm sure there are going to be a lot of fast cars there, but crusing definitely isn't the place to find out who's is faster. That's what the drag strip is for.
