Default JPC Racing Open House and Car Show Millersville, MD

Should be a lot of fun. Parking is going to be at a premium for this event. Please note, for the Dyno Shootout Pre-registration with JPC Racing is required. 10 cars maximum per class will be entered, with a couple of standby's. As the flyer says, contact shannon[at]jpcracing.com/call 410-729-0005 to pre-register for the dyno shootout. Visit www.baysidemustangs.com to preregister for the show.

Even if you are not entering the Dyno Shootout to win, this is an inexpensive way to get Air/Fuel and Horsepower measurements from your car.

If you have questions please email jpccarshow@baysidemustangs.com, or I can try to answer here.

Still spots open for the Dyno Shootout. $200 prize to the winner in each class! Pre-register with Shannon at JPC if interested.

Quick Update:

- Early indications are that the weather is going to be a perfect, sunny, 73 degrees on the 8th.
- Award and dash plaques are at JPC already and might be on display.
- We have so many door prizes that are coming in that we may be giving them away all day long, or 2 at a time. Spectators will also be eligible to win door prizes with a $2 donation to the charity collection.
- NMRA and the publisher of Muscle Mustang and Fast Fords have stepped up with some nice prizes that will be given away.
- We've got a Pit Beef BBQ guy lined up to cook food, and of course an ice cream/snow cone guy.
- There are still spots open for the Dyno Shootout, so JPC will probably accept entries day-of instead of only taking pre-registrations.

You can still pre-register for $15 instead of paying $20 at the door all the way up to the night before.

For anyone following this thread.

A quick update on the status and weather situation for this weekend.

After our meeting with JPC last night, we are going to go ahead with the show despite the 20-30% chance of thunderstorms. It keeps changing but it appears to be morning/late afternoon are best rain chances (but still 30%).

Went really well we thought. About 65-70 cars with good representation from all makes. No complaints on parking or logistics. Good food. And the weather worked out perfectly.

Even the B.S. that ELD tried to pull didn't stop a great show. But their creativity and effort certainly reached a new low from all the shows I've been to.

Still working on gathering up pictures, but you'll find them over at baysidemustangs.com over the next couple of days.
