Default 2nd Annual Mustang Mania Show, Columbia MD

The 2nd Annual Mustang Mania Car Show will be held August 7th at Apple Ford in Columbia, MD.

This years show benefits our recovering wounded soldiers, sailors, and airmen at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. They are in need of some basic items that the hospital isn't providing.

Last year we had over 250 Mustangs on hand and we hope to have even more this year.

CASH AWARDS for best Mustang from each generation, and award plaques for other categories including a Soldiers Choice Award that we hope can be presented by visiting servicemen/women from Walter Reed..

Flyer can be downloaded here.

Thanks and we hope to see all Mustang owners from the area.

Only a week and a half until the show. We've got some great sponsors lined up to provide prizes and goodie bag items including:

Ford Racing
Summitt Racing
Vortech
UPR
RockAuto
Southern Auto Body
JPC

Remember, this show is CASH PRIZE to the first and second place winners in the Mustang generations classes.

Hope to see you there.

Hopefully you'll be able to shift and still steer with one arm in a sling. Hope to see you there, but don't hurt yourself.

Update on some of the cash awards:
Cash Award Classes
* 1964 1/2 - 1978
* 1979 - 1993
* 1994 - 2004
* 2005 - Present
1st place - $200 cash with award plaque
2nd place - $100 cash with award plaque
* Furthest Traveled - $300 cash with award plaque

If you are coming with a club and want to park together, you are asked to arrive together. We are doing parking differently this year and just filling spots as people arrive, no parking by generations this time.

I just wanted to make sure is $15 donation to enter your car in the show, does it cost anything for spectators to come and look at car? I'm going to enter my car either way but my dad and finace want to come and I wasn't sure if they have to pay too?

Nope, no charge to come and look around. Also, you aren't required to pay $15 to enter the show. If you want to make an item donation for Walter Reed Hospital, you can do that instead. But if its easier for you to make a cash donation you're welcome to do that too.
