Any worries of damaging the stock motor or connections or trim?
Can a noob do it? Install them I mean
The install looks very noob friendly.
The only thing I'm wondering is how to get the stock mirror out without trim damage, from there it looks simple (like 4 screws) it was in 5.0 mag last/this months issue, not complicated at all, they just didn't hint toward how the stock mirrors are removed, maybe they just pop out? Going to order a pair of these this week.
Rec'd a set of these under the tree, no idea where she got them. The install is extremely easy. Found this guide and followed it. Only thing I did different was leaving the arm inside the stock mirror, instead I pried the grommet out and slid the wires through. That part was the longest step of the install. No worries on damaging anything on the trim, the interior covers pop out pretty easily.
Like others have said these should of been the OEM style, they flow extremely well with the car.
