RE: sd cam setup :)
I didnt say you didnt know, what i said is that a popular grind nos cam isnt really gonna benefit him.quote]ORIGINAL: dimebag
i know verywell how cams worked... i can honestly say i did a few hours research on atleast 5 cams when picking mine out
we know what cam i have, and we also know its a little more risky as far as the idle in concerned... its very borderline. the suggested cam is a little safer, and alot less likly to have an idle problem.
with my cam i had to do some things with spring pressures, the map line, and some dumb little ****...
and thats not a bad list... but like i said earlier, some are missing

actually dime, dyno's on other pushrod motors like a bbf have shown that a popular grind nitrous cam doesnt have a real impact on a motor, na or w/ spray. why dont you just tell him the cam u picked out, sounds like a goodcam for what he wants.

awesome, your getting ripped off on the nitrous kit... new their like 500 bucks...
anyway, check out comp, they have a nitrous cam that would work well with SD
i know it has .512/.512 lift, a 114ish lsa, and the duration i cannot remember off the top of my head, check it out on summit, its their nitrous series cam... i was very close to buying this cam myself, and didnt because at the time it wasnt in stock.

RE: sd cam setup :)
yeah the 35-552-8 cam should work ok , you are going to get the recomended spring to right ?depending on how big of a lope that has it might affect your idle , as to a fluctuation in it not steady .how much spray are you gonna run .
