This thread has me thinking,

I was gonna get an edelbrock performer 600 for $275 from summit but,
I can get my buddy's new in the box street demon 750 for about $400 or $500.
So now I thinking which would be better?
Here's the application-

87 Mustang
306"
AOD
Crower cam
Grind/lobe center
222HR228
112*

Advertised duration
Intake Exhaust
282* 286*

Duration @ .050"
Intake Exhaust
222* 228*

Gross lift
1.6/1.6
Intake Exhaust
.496" .512"

Performer rpm intake
Stock heads
Long tube headers
Stock 85 ignition
For street use

Thanks for any help!

The key wording in his staement is 950 base,it doesn't mean it is a 950 carb,Patrick puts 950 bases on some of his carbs to increase booster signal. The venturis may only flow 750 or 800.

Use the Demon you will be much happier with it.I think the cam is a little small,I would run something in the 230-240 range a .050.I ran a Crower flat solid 238-242 .050 .477.488 110 TFS high ports 1 3/4 headers 823 cfm Gold Claw RS DP, Offy Port-o-Sonic 4.10 gears.went 11.60 at 115 on 26x10 M/T slicks.

Sorry did not see it was HR.
