Default Dead Spot?

Ive got a 90 LX w/ a carbed 302, Im running a 650 Holley w/ a Holley blue label electric pump. Anyway it has a dead spot when I first hit the throttle. Its fine in the mid rpm's, just cuts out for a second in the lower ones. Not sure if maybe my carb needs re-jetted or if my pump isn't strong enough. Any help would be great!

That is usually a sign that you are not getting enough fuel out of the accelerator pump. Make sure the pump is adjusted correctly, then increase the squirter size.

Does the car bog for a bit and then go, or does it seem to simply cut out and then go?

Best trap 107.11mph, we'll see what the new intake/carb setup does.

Yup, sounds like it needs a bigger pump shot. Do what JD said
