HELLO Im in the process of putting a carb and intake on a previous fuel injected engine.My old motor went and i came up with a shortblock for now.The motor is fi but the previous was carb. Can anyone tell me if im looking for trouble or is this an easy swap.Any imformation would be appreciated. THANK YOU

It isnt a very hard thing to do. Baisically if the car is set up for carb already all you need to do is change the intake over to a carbed intake and stick a carb on there and open it up for the fuel pump. Also just set the two motors side by side and make sure that everything your carb motor has the new FI motor will have after all the swaps have been done. I did this when I put a new motor in my friends 86 F150. Put a fuel injected 351 into a carbed truck and converted the FI to carb
I have a 1985 gt setup for a carb. But i want to go to a 5.0. I have a 91 complete harness w/maf. But how do i tie that into the 85 dash harness. I dont want change the dash out to a newer one. Any ideas'.
all you neeed is the engine and injector harness to run fi in a 85
